The Peterborough Children’s Strategic Partnership—Birth to 13 years (CSP), represents the interests of a wide range of people concerned with early years education and childcare, including parents, carers, employers, early years and childcare providers, local authority and health services.
The purpose of the Children’s Strategic Partnership is to carry out the statutory responsibilities of an early years partnership and any other strategic response appropriate.
The CSP aspires to implement the recommendations of the Peterborough Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP) in order to improve outcomes for children from Pre-Birth – 13 years in the following areas:
Be healthy — enjoy good physical and mental health and live a healthy lifestyle
Stay safe — be protected from harm and neglect and grow up being able to look after themselves
Enjoy and achieve — get the most out of life and develop broad skills for adulthood
Make a positive contribution — to the community and to society and not engage in antisocial or offending behaviour
Achieve economic well-being — so that they have a good start in life and are able to achieve their full potential and secure employment
